Last week I mailed out four exchanges! And of course I get something in return too ;) Today I received this lovely LHN exchange from Marion : She made me the cutest Needlebook: And added some marvelous goodies. Thanks Marion! On the Crazy exchange group we have an Autumn exchange going on. And today I found out that Katrien and I have each other as a partner. Such a big coincedence, because we also received our exchanges on the same day! Here's the exchange I received from Katrien: Katrien made me a wonderful wallhanging! I love the little squirrel on it ;) Thank you, Katrien! Also for the bookmark kit and the floss. And this is the pinkeep I've made for Katrien: Design: Autumn Spots - The Trilogy Fabric: 32 ct. Linen yellow Floss: DMC Finish: pinkeep Tomorrow I'm going to the drawing for the Floss tag. So this is your last chance to join it! Hugs, Simone

I told you to watch out for the next post, because that would be the 200th one. But I've uploaded the pics of Barcelona, and now that became the 200th post... Anyway I want to celebrate my Blogiversary with you! Just a minute ago I finished my first ever Floss tag! It might be a little big for a floss tag ;) But I'm very happy with my first attempt. Because of my Blogiversary I want to give it to one of you. So please leave a comment to this post and you will be in the drawing. The drawing will be October 1st . Barcelona

We're back from our trip to Barcelona! It was only three days, but it felt like a complete vacation!!!

Trade with Tracy

I offered the chart and leftover threads of LHN's "My Needle's Work", a little while ago. And Tracy was willing to trade with me. She picked out some charts from my wishlist and today a BIG envelope came in the mail! Here's what Tracy had chosen for me: Lucky me! She picked some Homespun Elegance designs for me, my favourite!!! She also added a LHN freebie. Thanks again Tracy! This is my 199th post.... So look out for the next one! But, you'll have to wait a while for that one, because tomorrow we're going to Barcelona for four days! ¡adiós!

Late flowers

(Sorry, picture heavy post) I love the flowers that bloom in Autumn! Leaves are already falling from the trees, but the brave Helianthus, Ipomoea and Aconitum are in full glory! The bees love them too! Look at how the ipomoea strangled the gong!

Claudia received her Autumn exchange

Claudia mailed me that she received my Autumn exchange for her. I can tell from her message that she was really happy with it! ;) I don't have pics from the complete exchange, but I'm sure Claudia will show them. But here is the wallhanging I made for her: Design: Lutin d'automne - Tralala Collection Fabric: 32 ct. natural linen Floss: Victorian Motto Shoppe Hand Dyed Finish: wallhanging I just recently discovered "Tralala Designs" and I really like this French designer!

Floss-tag received from Susan

I received my first Floss tag today! Susan made it for me for the Make a Wish exchange. I can't believe it's her first one ever! She did a great job on the finishing. Susan stitched a part of "Pumpkin Patch", from the Prairie Schooler. My initial is on the back. (sorry, I forgot to turn the pic, so please, turn your head) Thank you so much Susan!!! Last Saturday we went stash shopping in Amersfoort, with a few ladies of the "Borduurhoekje". We had such a great day! We went to Schwitzner . An old little store completely filled (from floor to ceiling) with fabric, bands, ribbons, lace, buttons etc. It was just like a museum ;) Anyway; here is what I came home with: Hugs, Simone BTW: I decided to quit the Xmas ornie exchanges. You can read about it on the blog .

Autumn exchange received from Claudia

Wow! Look at the wonderful Autumn exchange I received today, from Claudia ! And so fast... She sent it Tuesday from Italy. Unfortunatly the Autumn Elf broke both of his legs... :( But I glued them back together, so he is back on his feet again. Claudia made me the most stunning pinkeep I've ever seen! She used a design from Homespun Elegance (which happened to be one of my favourites), "Fall House Sampler". But look what she did on the back! A scissors pocket with a very pretty pair of scissors in it and the cutest little needle magnet. She also made a "Thread Hopper". And look what is under the scissors; a tiny little bat! This was the first exchange I received from Claudia for the Seasonal Exchange. I'm already looking forward to the next one ;) Thank you so much Claudia! I hope you like my exchange as much as I do yours... Hugs, Simone

I saw it's been a while since my last post. My camping trip with my parents was nice, but the weather didn't cooperate. I didn't even take any pictures! I read a lot, but I didn't stitch much eather. Somehow I couldn't find the peace for it... I can't show you anything of my recent stitching, because it's all for exchanges! Today I posted my Autumn exchange for Claudia . The first of four seasons for the Seasonal Exchange. A few days ago I finished the stitching for a LHN exchange, this evening I'm going to finish another autumn exchange. Then there is the Fall house exchange and an Halloween/Autumn exchange. And in between I hope to stitch some smalls because I finally want to try making a floss tag! And our RR started so I have to finish that before November 1st. When I'm finally finished with all those exchanges it's time to do some Christmas stitching! And hopefully I can work on my WIP's a little... Maybe I should join less exchanges...
